Biography

Prof. Dr. Natasja MS de Groot is professor in translational electrophysiology at Erasmus Medical Center (Rotterdam). She is a Medical Delta professor at EMC and TU Delft, and in this context appointed as part-time professor at SPS and BE.

At EMC (her primary affiliation), she works as cardiologist-electrophysiologist. She is director of the unit translational electrophysiology and principal investigator of the Erasmus Medical Center of Atrial Fibrillation.

In 2018, she became leader of the Medical Delta Cardiac Arrhythmia Lab, one of the flagships of the collaboration between Leiden University Medical Center, Erasmus Medical Center and TU Delft.
