Introduction
Signal processing theory centers around signal processing for
communication and array signal processing, biomedical signal
processing, computational imaging, distributed sensing, acoustical
signal processing with applications in hearing aids, localization of
sound sources, receiver algorithms for wireless communication, array
signal processing (utilizing multiple antennas) for radar and radio
astronomy, EEG, ECG, MRI, ultrafast ultrasound, ...
Machine learning is an important tool we commonly use.
