MSc thesis project proposal

Flat Lens Antennas With Tailored Radiation Patterns

In the past five years, the TS group has developed a highly efficient Method of Moments solver specifically designed to analyze inhomogeneous dielectric structures.

The goal of this project is to exploit the speed and flexibility of the tool to design flat-lens  antennas with radiation patterns tailored to emerging requirements from industrial partners, particularly in near-field communications and automotive radar systems. In the project, the permittivity profiles of the lenses will be synthesized first, and then prototypes will be 3D printed, and the experimental tests will be performed.
