MSc Signals, Networking and Sensing

Discipline courses

The programme offers three complementary focus areas (called Disciplines): Signal ProcessingNetwork Science, and Radar Systems.  You can tailor your study path by combining these with real-world themes, allowing you to specialize while staying flexible.

Each Discipline consists of 4 courses (each 5 EC) which you select as a package. They are:

Signal Processing:

  • EE4850 Estimation and Detection
  • EE4530 Applied Convex Optimization
  • EE4685 Bayesian Machine Learning
  • EE4740 Sparse Signal Processing

Network Science:

  • DSAIT4105 Probabilistic Models and Inference
  • EE4530 Applied Convex Optimization
  • EE4900 Telecommunication Networks
  • EE4895 Network Resilience

Radar Systems:

  • EE4845 Fundamentals of Radar and Applications
  • EE4565 Propagation and Scattering of EM Waves
  • EE4785 Sensor Signal Processing & Target Tracking
  • EE4775 Object Classification with Radar

(You could always choose a course outside your package as part of your Custom course selection.)

Further, you choose in Q3 a topic within the EE4001-IC Interdisciplinary Challenge list of options. For SNS, we recommend

  • Beamforming Systems
